Generate website traffic
Generating website traffic is one of the primary goals of any website owner, particularly targeted traffic who are genuinely interested in your site. It is very hard to generate traffic without investing some money promoting a website, but how much do you invest?
The figure you need to know is cost per visitor. To work this out divide the amount you spend by the visitors, for example if you spend £100 in a month you get 1000 visitors your cost per visitor = 10p.
How much can you afford to spend per visitor? If 1 in 10 visitors buy and you make a profit of £10, then that sale has cost you £1, and you made £9, so you afford it. You can work out how much to spend on generating traffic from knowing your cost per visitor.
